Get to Know Us
Dr. Amanda finds a lot of joy in working with children. Her warm and nurturing demeanor makes visits to the dentist a playful endeavor. She believes that each child is unique, and feels it is a privilege to get to know your family. She loves seeing all kids, and has a particular interest in special needs.
She studied child psychology and graduated on the Dean’s List at the University of Pennsylvania. She went on to publish research at Harvard University, where she worked in underserved communities throughout the greater Boston area. She moved to the Big Apple to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) and Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) from Columbia University. She completed her pediatric specialty training at Montefiore in the Bronx, NY.
Dr. Amanda is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. She has been named one of the Top Doctors in New York. She is an active member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the New York State Dental Association.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys yoga and catching some stand-up comedy. She often sings to her patients at just the right time…let her know if you have any song requests!

Originally from Colorado, Dr. Doan is a ray of sunshine. If you’ve ever had anxiety about the dentist, she will wash away those fears and make you laugh!
Dr. Doan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Physiology from the UC Boulder. She continued her education in New York, obtaining her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry, followed by a General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Her experience spans a wide range of dental procedures, including oral surgery, emergency care, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. She naturally forms bonds with patients, taking the time to explain treatments and ensure that they are comfortable with their care.
Dr. Doan is committed to continuous education and is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Outside the office, she enjoys going to museums, sampling new restaurants, and exploring the bustling city.
Dr. Amanda Nebel is a compassionate clinician with nearly a decade of experience providing comprehensive, high-quality care. She is dedicated to improving the smiles of her patients and is known for her warm approach and gentle touch.
A native New Yorker, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from NYU College of Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center, where she treated complex and emergency cases.
In addition to residency, Dr. Nebel has pursued advanced education through the Dawson Academy. This is a rigorous post-doctoral program enhancing her expertise in functional, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. She also regularly attends Continuing Education courses to stay up to date with the latest techniques.
Outside of the office, Dr. Nebel enjoys spending time with her children and exploring the Upper West Side.

A born and bred New Yorker, Dr. From has been a General and Cosmetic dentist for over 35 years. Initially interested in an acting career, he always has a story (and a joke) to tell!
He was raised in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, attended Brooklyn College, and graduated from NYU College of Dentistry. He has owned his own practice, and went on to work at several high-end practices in the city.
Working with apprehensive patients is one of his specialties. It is with ease that he makes people feel comfortable in his care, and takes it step-by-step.
He has 2 older boys who are off on their own, and a younger daughter who graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology. In his free time, he loves to hang with his dog Donut and go on hikes, cycle, and work out. He always has a spot in mind for good food and entertainment.
Dr. Jae Kim DDS, MS
Orthodontist for Kids & Adults
Dr. Jae Kim was born in Seoul, Korea. At the age of 10, he moved to Los Angeles, CA and called it home. After high school, he attended University of Toronto in Canada, where he studied Engineering Science and specialized in Biomedical Engineering.
Between college and dental school, he worked at an engineering firm designing medical devices. He then earned a Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering.
Dr. Kim moved to New York City where he attended New York University College of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). He was in the top 1% throughout four years of dental school and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honor Society.
Since he loves to design smiles, he decided to pursue three years of post-graduate education in orthodontics, obtaining a Masters of Science degree at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
Since then, he has moved back to NYC to practice. He is starting to raise a family with his wife (and pup!) in the city, and enjoys perfecting his golf swing.
Dr. Jason Tan is a dual-trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Dental Anesthesiologist dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care.
He completed his undergraduate, graduate, and dental education at McGill University before relocating to the New York City area.
Dr. Tan went on to complete advanced training in Dental Anesthesiology at Jacobi Medical Center, followed by specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The Mount Sinai Hospital. He also earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Tan maintains hospital privileges across multiple institutions in the Greater New York City region and is committed to ensuring each patient’s comfort and safety throughout their treatment.
Outside of his practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, exploring all that New York has to offer.

Dr. Rebecca Goldman DDS
Periodontist
Dr. Rebecca Goldman hails from Brooklyn, New York. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from her hometown school, Brooklyn College. She crossed the river to attend New York University’s College of Dentistry.
There she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, graduating in the top 4% of her class, recognized via induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. To further her skills Dr. Goldman completed a 3-year post-graduate residency in Advanced Periodontics and Dental Implants at New York University’s College of Dentistry. During her residency, she received world-class training in the treatment of complex cases, patients with gum disease, implant placement and full mouth rehabilitation. She is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Goldman is committed to partnering with her patients to achieve their smile goals - and ultimately make a lasting impact on their quality of life.
In her free time, Dr. Goldman enjoys baking delicious treats (that the office gets to savor!), and spending time with her family and friends.
Isabelle Hewson RDH

Isabelle Hewson is a dedicated dental hygienist born and raised in New York City.
Since beginning her career in 2012, she has built a reputation for providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Isabelle has always believed that a confident smile can change someone’s life, and she takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported during every visit.
With over a decade of experience, Isabelle combines clinical expertise with a warm and calming presence, making her a trusted professional for patients of all ages. Her great sense of humor can put even the most fearful patient at ease. Her love for her work continues to grow each year, fueled by the meaningful connections she builds and the positive impact she makes on her community.
Outside of the office, Isabelle enjoys living on the Upper West Side, hula hooping, and spending time with her boys.
