Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) is a minimally invasive treatment used to stop the progression of dental decay and help prevent future cavities. There is no need for drills and needles.  Applied as a liquid directly to affected areas, SDF works by combining the antibacterial properties of silver with the remineralizing effects of fluoride to halt decay and strengthen tooth structure. It is especially beneficial for children, older adults, and patients who prefer to avoid or delay more extensive dental procedures.
